2026 Summer Knitting Retreat @Lambuth Inn, Lake Junaluska June 11-14

Summer Retreat June 11-14, 2026

We are so excited about our Summer Retreat at Lake Junaluska at the Lambuth Inn.   

Our retreat includes all food, room (if signed up for a room), swag bag and classes.  The price is per person.  Check in will be on Thursday @4pm and dinner is served from 5:30-7:00pm.   We will have a meeting room for classes and vendors.

Classes have a limited number of students, so online registration is required for that class.  Please sign up for classes using this  link.  

Buffets are served.  Breakfast 7:30-9:00am, Lunch 12:00-1:30pm, Dinner 5:30-7:00pm.

Vendors will be open Saturday 10-5.  We will have Fairy Hair signups with Sue on Saturday.

Friends & Fiberworks (mobile unit as a vendor), will be open every day during the retreat. We will have all the yarns needed to complete all classes and knit a longs for sale.

A private shopping experience at Friends & Fiberworks Saturday 6:30-8:30pm.

Emre Koc, owner of Urth Yarns  will be with us this weekend with a trunk show and showing us their new yarns.

Yonca Ozbelli owner of Universal Yarns will be with us all weekend with a trunk show and presentation of yarns and Muud Bags.

Chair massages will be available on Friday and Saturday.

Sit & knit a long Gnomes w/Sandy, knitting help w/Cyndi and Crochet help with Jean all weekend.

Double Room $750 per person, please let us know who your roommate is.  Single Room $1025 per person.  Double Room with 1 retreater $1325.  Day Retreat (no room, classes and food only) $400.00.  Wednesday Night Room Rate as an add on $190.00.

2:30-3:30 Embroider Your Knit & Crochet w/Heidi. Bring more than one pre-knit or crocheted flat (stockinette or crochet single crochet) square in DK weight yarn, worked up on 3-4 mm needles or hooks (i.e., not too loose). It is ok to use heavier yarn for your swatch, please also bring small amounts to use for your embroidery. The embroidery threads (or yarns) are best if a bit thinner than the swatch yarn weight. I will bring some floral designs, needles and embroidery threads we can use to practice stitching.
