Learn to knit with 2 colors at a time and become a stranded knitter. You will dive right into knitting the penguin hat and leave this class well on your way to having a brand new penguin hat! We will use the DK version of the pattern, “Penguin Ruckus.” By the end of the class you will have a new skill and leave feeling very confident in tackling more stranded knitting projects.
Materials
One kit – 6 mini skeins (or 50 yards of 5 colors, with one very light color and one very dark color (for background and penguins.) Two of the skeins should be white (6 minis in total.)
One US 6/4mm 16” needle
One Penguin Ruckus DK pattern. Don’t worry – we will help you organize your colors
before you begin.
Homework - Please come with the ribbing complete or be prepared to spend the first
hour knitting it.
